WB/S to inquire about Jeff Taffe?
A lot of talk has been going on lately about American Hockey League pick-ups and what moves the WB/S Pens may need to make in order to fulfill their Calder Cup dreams.
With Dustin Jeffrey, Eric Tangradi and the likes up in Pittsburgh for the time being they are without a much needed component - offensive production.
Today on Penguins Insider, Jonathan Bombulie (the Jesus of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey) mentioned that one former WB/S/Pittsburgh Penguin and current Rockford IceHog forward could do the trick.

AHL Superstar Jeff Taffe.
Taffe was a mainstay in the bottom-six of the 2007-08 Pittsburgh line-up for the majority of the season, and then re-upped for one year with the Pens in '08-09.
He lit up the AHL in his time with Wilkes-Barre, and was their go-to scorer on most nights.
Think that could happen again? Rockford is out of AHL playoff contention and Taffe is currently on a 1-way contract from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Also, notice what kind of T-shirt Taffe is wearing in the featured picture. It's a sign from God.
Do it, Shero. Or Botterill. Whoever.
