Thiessen named AHL Goalie of the Month
Brad Thiessen has been named the Reebok/AHL Goaltender of the Month for February.
The second-year pro allowed just 12 goals in 10 appearances during the month, posting an 8-2-0 record (3 shutouts), a 1.28 GAA, and a .943 sv%.
Thiessen is ranked number one in the AHL with 26 wins, a 1.90 GAA and six shutouts in 34 games. He is 26-6-0 on the year.
Thiessen shared the AHL Goaltender of the Month award with back-up John Curry in October 2010.
