RECAP: The Ticket Cashes In. WB/S PENS WIN.

The Baby Pens bounced back yet once again, and played their best game of the AHL post-season to date.
They out battled the physical Checkers all night long, and beat them in every aspect of the game.
Dumping the puck in and banging bodies is a must on this team, and that's basically what they practiced and preached all night long.
The defense didn't allow much, and when it did Brad Thiessen was there to eat up everything.
34 saves on 34 shots.

Joey Mormina absolutely steamrolled goon Brad Herauf, when he reached up in the air to grab a floating puck down.
Oskar Osala jumped him like the joke he is. This sparked the entire WB/S bench.
Late in the second period, Brett Sterling sniped Mike Murphy to get the team on the board. What a celebration.
Chris Collins, with his sick grandmother listening in to the game via the hospital, took a slick pass from Keven Veilleux and buried one home with authority.
Ryan Craig was screening in front and causing havoc all night long in the blue paint and in the corners. What a physical beast.
He put home the nastiest empty netter we've seen in years with under a minute to play. Just a pure bury from center ice, with no celly but a death stare to the Charlotte bench.
That's your captain.

Game.
Series tied 1-1.
