RUMOR: WB/S targeting Richard Park?
There have been some internet reports out there, probably as reliable as the guy living under the Birmingham Bridge,
claiming that the WB/S Penguins are targeting former New York Islander forward Richard Park.
If any of this is even true, his Michael Strahan-esque tooth gap alone could bring some needed leadership to the farm team in the WB.
A former Pittsburgh draft choice (2nd round, 1994) Park tallied 227 points (15+19) in 684 total NHL games.
His final professional season in North America saw him post 31 points (9+22) in 81 games. At least he can stay healthy.
Last season, Parkbeast played for Geneve Servette (Swiss-A league) and earned 34 points (15+19) in 47 games.
What can I say? Do it.
