Pittsburgh signs Ryan Craig; WB/S signs Ben Street

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward/center Ryan Craig to a one-year two-way contract worth $550k.
This will prove to be nothing but a solid depth signing, as Craig will be given his captain's "C" if he fails to make the NHL team and is sent to Wilkes-Barre.
Craig is a top-line scoring center in the minors, who can kill penalties and play down low on the power play.
In the NHL, he must simplify his game and play as a banger, looking to fight on a regular basis.
Craig put up 48 points (19 goals, 29 assists), 84 PIM in 71 AHL games last season.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have signed forward Ben Street to a one-year AHL-only deal.

After being called up from Wheeling last year, he proved that he could play as an everyday AHL player, and established himself as a future NHL prospect.
The undrafted rookie tallied 23 points (12 goals, 11 assists) in 36 games for WB/S last year.
Two solid signings. Keep it goin'.
