Friday vs. Hershey Highlights [VIDEO]
Wilkes-Blog was put on a brief hold this weekend due to a certain trip to Long Island, etc.
It's back now and better than ever, as we gear up for the AHL playoffs.
On Friday night, the Hershey Bears edged out Wilkes-Barre in a tight 2-1 battle at the final horn.
But not without some controversy, to say the least...
What you'll find in the video:
Keven Veilleux bangs Steve Pinizzotto (the Sean Avery of the minors) into the boards
Some munson picks Andrew Hutchinson's pocket, and beats Brad Thiessen (1-0)
Captain Ryan Craig drops the gloves with the $8-million man, Sheldon Souray
Pinizzotto continues his bullshit, slashing Thiessen after the whistle and hitting Hutchinson up high
The same munson from earlier dangles Carl Sneep and snaps a shot over Thiessen's glove (2-0)
Brett Sterling snipes Braden Holtby from the slot for his team-leading 26th of the season (2-1)
Sterling gets a penalty shot, but can't beat Holtby
Holtby leaves his crease to punch Sterling in the face, and Bryan Lerg appears to tie the game up.
The refs call goaltender interference. Most absurd call I've ever witnessed. A must-see fuck up from the refs here.
Veilleux has had enough of Pinizhomo, slashes him in the head and then pounds him to the ice.
Beast Mode was given a 2-game suspension for it.
"Well worth it."
