Man, it feels good to write a Gameday post that has nothing to do with Binghamton, Adirondack or Albany.
The Pens will play the Moose for the first time this season, thus far.

Tonight should be a tough test for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the top team in the American Hockey Leauge.
Over the past several weeks, the first line has been made up of Eric Tangradi, Dustin Jeffrey, and Brett Sterling.
Only one of those three players mentioned are still with the team.

Tangradi and Jeffrey are on recall to the NHL with Pittsburgh, leaving the Baby Pens in a very similar situation to their parent Penguins.
They are without their two go-to scorers, much like the big Pens are without Crosby and Malkin.

With two of WB/S' forwards heading up the ranks, two forwards from the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers also head up a league.
Nick Petersen and Ben Street have been summoned from the Wheel. At least one, if not both will play tonight.

Tonight's contest will be the first game that Wilkes-Barre has played this season without both their leading scorer, and top prospect.
Grit, determination and finishing scoring chances must be completed in order to overcome this tough Manitoba team.

Brother of top prospect Billy, defenseman Lee Sweatt and highly-touted center Cody Hodgson are on recall to Vancouver (NHL).
Sami Salo, a proven NHL offensive defenseman, will play tonight for Manitoba on a conditioning stint.

Manitoba sits in 2nd place in the North Divison, just one point out of 1st behind the Hamilton Bulldogs.
They have a 26-14-1-5 record, and have gone 6-2-1-1 in their previous ten.

In their previous game before the AHL All-Star break, Moose goaltender Eddie Lack stopped 28 of 29 for a 3-1 win over Toronto.

Center ice is a little different tonight, as well:
