*Edit:  Dustin Jeffrey will be in the line-up.

The last time these two teams suited up, it was against one another, in a Sunday afternoon bout.
The Checkers took advantage of a very fatigued Penguins team, and started running the scoreboard up.
The Penguins allowed a franchise-high 9 goals, and fell at the hands of a Zach Boychuk hat trick, by a 9-5 final.
Boychuk was called up to the NHL following his outstanding, first-star performance.
After three days without a game, WB/S should be well rested and ready for payback.
Not only did Charlotte embarrass them on the scoresheet, but goaltender Justin Pogge ran out of his crease and attempted to fight the entire Penguins team.
The word out of Wilkes-Barre, is that the Pens are so eager to get on the ice just so they can score goals at will on this guy - and then tell him about it.

Fans in attendance need to get the "POGGE - POGGE" chant started up nice and early. Get in his head.

With Brad Thiessen injured, John Curry will start in net with recently signed rookie Alexander Pechurskiy backing him up.
Curry will replace Thiessen at the AHL All-Star game.
There is no word out of Pittsburgh that Dustin Jeffrey has been demoted yet, if at all.

The Checkers sit in fourth place in the East, but remain tied in overall points with the Hershey Bears.
This is a high-powered, offensive-minded club that is still considered dangerous even without their top prospect Boychuk in the line-up.
With a 25-16-1-4 overall record, the Hurricanes farm team is 5-4-0-1 in their last ten.
The Penguins are still in 1st place, boasting a 34-11 bid, (7-3 in their previous ten).
