Pens recall G Brad Thiessen
The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Brad Thiessen from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL).
Thiessen is statistically the best goaltender in the American Hockey League, with a 32-7-1 record to go along with a 1.88 GAA and a .924 save %.

Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, the move is believed to be behind a Brent Johnson personal reason/minor injury.
Patrick Killeen will be recalled from Wheeling (ECHL) in order to back-up John Curry in Wilkes-Barre.
