Lacking from that line-up as of right now, is a legitimate top-6 forward and a top pairing defenseman, preferably one who can quarterback the power play.

Also, with John Curry not returning, a veteran AHL back-up goaltender will be needed as well.

 

Both Andrew Hutchinson and Corey Potter, WB/S' top 2 offensive D-men from last season have signed elsewhere (overseas, Edmonton organization).

He's suggesting going after Christian Hanson, the son of one of the famous Hanson brother goons, and former Maple Leafs top prospect.
