Jeffrey, Thiessen offered contracts

GM Ray Shero has qualified RFA's forward Dustin Jeffrey and goaltender Brad Thiessen for new contracts.
 
The organization is very high on both of these prospects, as Jeffrey was just breaking out offensively in an NHL call-up before getting knocked out of the rest of the reason with a severe leg injury.
He is expected to return to hockey mode by October, meaning he will most likely miss September's main training camp.
 
Both players were AHL All-Stars this past season, and their stats if nothing esle show you exactly why they were chosen:

Jeffrey:
45 points (17 goals, 28 assists) in 40 games

35-8-1 record, 1.94 GAA, .922 save %
 
Neither players have been retained yet officially, but expect them both to be back for sure.
