CNN features WBS Pens
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pens are making it big time.
CNN is featuring them in their new internet streaming story.
Some jobber named Wayne Drash recently published this article.
As you can see, they are using Luca Caputi, Dustin Jeffrey, and Mark Letestu to promote this.
The actual piece has nothing to do with hockey ability or talent on the team.
The guy writes for their "Tech" section. But it's big time. When was Chris Bourque ever featured on CNN?
I've learned that they are now streaming WBS highlights on new flat screen TV's all across the world,
in order to plug this new feature to stream internet through your TV.
This is how I watch most of the AHL Pens games during the season. It's nasty.
One beast in the comments said that he bought a new TV in Wilmington, NC just because they showed Letestu sniping one.
Another said he saw WBS doing work on a TV display in Costa Rica.
Tells you how much CNN knows about hockey. Didn't we trade Caputi like 8 months ago?
