Tangradi, Bortuzzo named All-Stars
Originally, Dustin Jeffrey and Brad Thiessen were set to be the lone WB/S Penguin players represented at the 2011 AHL All-Star Game.
Due to a death in Jeffrey's family, and a minor injury to Thiessen, neither will be able to attend the festivities.
Replacing Thiessen will be fellow netminder John Curry.
Almost all year long, Thiessen and Curry have been 1-A and 1-B.
Replacing Jeffrey will be the Big Dog, Eric Tangradi.
Tangradi is tied for the team-lead in goals, and has played in less games than most of his teammates, due to starting the year in the NHL.
Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo was also added to the list.
He ranks in the top 10 among defensemen in plus/minus, and has already bettered his point total from last season.
