We went a few years ago to the scrimmage. No question it is worth the trip.
Even better news here; two preseason games will be broadcast on TV.The Pens’ Saturday, Sept. 25 game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at CONSOL Energy Center will be carried live by WPCW – Pittsburgh’s CW. Game time is 7 p.m.
The Tuesday, Sept. 28 home game against the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks will be shown on tape delay by FSN Pittsburgh. Game time is 7 p.m. and the broadcast will be aired following the Pirates’ post-game show that night.
FSN’s Paul Steigerwald and Bob Errey will call the action for both games. The Sept. 25 game is being shown on Pittsburgh’s CW because of a scheduling conflict at FSN, the team’s regional television network
