If penalties were actually called and players/team had to pay for cheap shots w/ suspensions & fines, THAT would be a deterrent.
I just don't think fighting is a deterrent. There are cheap shots ALL THE TIME. Clearly "having to answer for your actions" means nothing.
.@BlitzburghBrian I just don't see the point of it. Fighting in a completely different game doesn't "deter" anyone from cheap shots.
