7:00 pm/et
TV: ROOT, CBC
Air Canada Centre - Toronto, ON

Games against the Leafs are always a battle. It's Kessel versus Neal tonight for goal scoring champion of October.
Staal is out.

Season Series: 0-0-0
Last meeting that counted: March 2nd, 2011. Leafs won 3-2 [OT].
What we said in our recap:
It doesn't get more frustrating than this loss, a loss that you saw coming a mile away. and there was nothing you could do about it. We have no clue why -- and maybe people can help us out -- but for whatever reason this was one of the most frustrating losses we've experienced since doing this blog and being a fan in general.

What they're saying:
Okay, so six wins in October isn't the most amazing accomplishment, seven teams have already done it this year and there are still four nights of hockey left in the month. This is however an amazing accomplishment for the Leafs as they haven't had a six win October since 2006, and there are two more chances for the Leafs to build on that total.
