Gameday 17 - Lightning

7:00 PM

Fleury is in net for the Pens.
Steven Stamkos is pretty good.
He currently leads the NHL in goals and points.
As we mentioned on the podcast, the Lightning lost 6-3 to Washington last night and Vincent Lecavalier broke his hand.
The Lightning are 8-5-2 on the season.
Steve Downie is out with an injury.
CBC asks if Ryan Malone has fallen out of favor in Tampa Bay:
Consider: Malone is averaging 15:03 of ice time and 2:41 of power-play time, down from 18:45 and 3:32 last season and 17:45 and 3:16 the year before. His production has dropped along with his burn, as he has just two goals in 15 games after scoring 21 and 26 the last two years. Does rookie Lightning coach Guy Boucher see something he doesn't like in Malone? That's uncertain, but the 30-year-old forward isn't off to a good start.

The Pens lines:
Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis
Matt Cooke - Evgeni Malkin - Arron Asham
Mike Rupp - Max Talbot - Craig Adams
Chris Conner - Mark Letestu - Tyler Kennedy
Brooks Orpik - Kris Letang
Paul Martin - Zbynek Michalek
Alex Goligoski - Deryk Engelland/Ben Lovejoy
Marc-Andre Fleury

A Horrible Guess at Tampa's lines:
Martin St. Louis - Steven Stamkos - Teddy Purcell
Sean Bergenheim - Dominic Moore - Ryan Malone
Mattias Ritola - Nate Thompson - Mike Vernace
Adam Hall - ??? - Dana Tyrell
Mattias Ohlund - Randy Jones
Victor Hedman - Brett Clark
Mike Lundin - Pavel Kubina
Mike Smith/Dan Ellis
No idea if it will be Smith or Ellis in net tonight.
Ellis Played last night, so it makes sense that Smith would start today.

Found today on Puck Daddy, this "Puck The Bunnies" song includes many Pens' players:
