Gameday 72 - Rangers

12:30 pm

CONSOL Energy Center
TV: NBC

Thank you, NHL schedule, for following a four day layoff with a 12:30 home game and then a 7:30 road game the next day.
The Rangers previous two trips to Pittsburgh were disasters. The Pens are only one point ahead of Tampa Bay for fourth in the East. The real fun begins today. Buckle up.

What they're saying about the Rangers:
As expected, Henrik Lundqvist will not participate in practice today. No one from the CT Whale has been called up for tomorrow's game in Pittsburgh. Lundvqist says he "feels better" today and "fortunately it's nothing serious...I will be fine."
Season series: Rangers Lead 3-2
Last meeting: February 13, 2011 - Rangers Won 5-3
What we said in our recap:
Pens got off to a great start, but then your girlfriend sucks. Thank God there isn't a game till Wednesday night. We are in the thick of the toughest part of the season.
Nope. NOW we are in the thick of the toughest part of the season.

Penguins notes:
Matt Niskanen should be back today.
Letestu still isn't ready.
We're guessing Fleury will be in goal.
Rangers notes:
Henrik Lundqvist may be out today. Not sure what's worse for the Pens, Lundqvist or an unknown goaltender.
