Other Things That Made Jeremy Roenick Cry
Last night Jeremy Roenick cried as the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.
Many people considered this a powerfully emotional moment that truly represents how much the Stanley Cup means.
Those who dared to find humor in the situation were considered insensitive jerks.
However, the talented team of veteran researchers and skilled reporters that the Pensblog is known for have once again discovered the shocking truth.
That wasn't the first time Jeremy Roenick cried.
In fact, Roenick cries frequently.

Jeremy Roenick is truly a class act and an American hero. Recall this TSN story from 2005 (which is no longer on the TSN website):
"Everybody out there who calls us spoiled because we play a game - they can kiss my ass."
But, of course, last night wasn't just another night in the life of Jeremy Roenick.
It was about the Chicago Blackhawks man!
This is the team that Roenick always supported, no matter what.
Except for when he spoke to ESPN a few weeks ago that is:
"I said if you had a gun to my head, I said I did have to [root for the Flyers]," Roenick said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I didn't want to leave in 1996. If I have to choose, then I have to choose, that's just what it is."
"I think this is the year of the Hawk," Roenick said. "I think the way they look, I don't think anybody can beat them."
"San Jose has had a tough time beating them. I can't see anyone beating them."
But that doesn't mean his heart is with the Hawks.
"I'm not going to lie to you. I am an analyst. I call it like I see it," he said. "Like it or hate it, I got thrown out of Chicago in 1996 against my wishes. I didn't like that either, so touché."
But Jeremy Roenick has always been an emotional player, right?
He understands that the tough, grueling struggle of the NHL leads to emotional outbursts.
Except for during this interview he gave last year that is:
"I see too many kids going the wrong way," he said. "They don't have the respect or the know-how to treat the sport - even Sidney Crosby. You see him [expletive], whining and crying. He's supposed to be the poster boy of our league and yet every time he gets hit, he's grimacing and complaining to the referees. Veterans teach the kids the right way to play."
But who are we to judge Jeremy Roenick, a player that has played the game with such respect and dedication?
A player that is always loyal to his team and never judges the emotions of others?
A player that cares so much about the fans?
