“How’s that for making love, not war,” astonished dad Brett Jones declared on his Facebook page, telling the world that the famous Romeo in a Vancouver riot picture is his son.

Scott Jones, one of Brett’s sons, is lying on a street locked in an embrace with girlfriend Alexandra Thomas as they’re flanked by riot police Wednesday night.

“Alex got knocked down by one of the shields,” Brett Jones told CBC-TV Friday morning in an interview from Perth, Australia.

“She was crying and upset. Scott was lying beside her and comforting her. He gave her a kiss to tell her it’s going to be okay.”

Jones senior wasn’t surprised his son, in Vancouver on a work visa, would do that.

Sorry to give this any more coverage. It seems like the guy from the riot make out pic was actually a rioter. A Facebook Group dedicated to identifying the rioters may have found him.
