After months of speculation, the Columbus Blue Jackets have finally parted ways with Rick Nash, trading the winger to the New York Rangers. Pending a trade call to make it official, the deal will see centres Artem Anisimov and Brandon Dubinsky, defenceman Tim Erixon and a first-round pick going to Columbus and a minor-league defenceman and a conditional third-round pick going to the Rangers.
In 82 games with the Blue Jackets last season, Nash scored 30 goals and 29 assists.
With the pending signing of Shea Weber with the Flyers the Pens look like the odd team out in the Atlantic division this summer. ( Other than the Devils...lol, and the shit stain Isles don't count.)
But in all seriousness Nash makes the Rangers way better, do the Pens counter this move? Probably not, back to sleep.
