Alexei Ponikarovsky is a Los Angeles King. Today he signed a one-year deal with LA worth $3 million. He will also receive a $200,000 signing bonus.

It's not like anyone seriously expected Poni to return to the Penguins, so the fact that he signed elsewhere is no surprise. We're more interested in finding out what happens to Fedotenko and Guerin this offseason. Unless something terrible happens, Feds won't be with the Pens either. We're wondering if he'll even be in the NHL. Bill Guerin? There are rumors that the Boston Bruins are interested.

A return to Pittsburgh isn't out of the question either.
