Two losses in a row for the Pens. Tampa is breathing down their necks and they're only four points behind Philly. The playoffs are just around the corner and every point is important. Nothing is certain yet.
Now we'll have a place to ROOT.

What they're saying about the Panthers:
Today, the Pittsburgh Penguins visit South Florida in one of quite a few playoff seeding matches. The Pens will attempt to sweep the season series while the Panthers will try not too be too embarrassed. Sidney Crosby is skating with the team and is on the road trip, but will probably not play until the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Panthers are trying to remember what playoffs are. This, the next to last home game of the season, will be packed with Penguins fans looking to see the Penguins close in on their Eastern Conference leading division rival Philadelphia Flyers. The Panthers, in an attempt to get season ticket holders to actually turn up to the game, have advertised that they will be showing the Final Four on televisions throughout the arena.
Season series: Penguins Lead 3-0
Last meeting: March 27th, 2011 - Penguins Won 2-1 [SO]
What we said in our recap:
In the grand scheme of things the Pens win on Sunday was just as big as any other win. Especially because the Bruins beat the Flyers in regulation. Now, the Pens can tie the Flyers for the division and conference lead on Tuesday night, in Consol. The Flyers have one game in hand, but that don't mean shit. The entire Eastern conference is insane. There is no match-up that is set. The Pens have pulled away from Tampa Bay, but the demons of Montreal lurk behind Tampa.
Brent Johnson will be in net for the Pens.
Stephen Weiss will be out for the Panthers.
Scott Clemmensen will start in net. Vokoun has back problems.
