7:00 pm Versus

There used to be a time, when the ASG Skills competition was a big deal.
Now it is like whatev.

And even though some are boycotting the ASG [Penguins Experience],  judging by the all pictures and events, it seems like it nothing but a good time up in Montreal. [Yahoo]

Montreal even seems to be bringing peace to bitter rivals.

Just ask A.O. and Geno.

Off-season to do list; get a petition to bring back one of the following jerseys:

Biron made some saves in this game that he's never made before.
The Pens didn't get a couple bounces.
The Flyers couldn't do anything even strength.

If you think the Pens are in trouble or something ridiculous
because of this loss, get off your fear-mongering pedastal.

The Pens are fine.
Were they supposed to go undefeated the rest of the season?
Jokes.

Speaking of jokes, how awful was the NBC announcing crew? Thanks to another radio delay, everyone had to suffer through Mike Emrick, Edzo, and Pierre McMguire, who was on some French kick when he was pronouncing Biron's name.

When Osgood isn't playing, Emrick is all right.
Edzo is a joke.  McGuire does more than he should.

Being that the Crosby love is done, we had to suffer though two plus hours of Mike Richards love from Mcdouche.
And have you ever actually paid attention to Edzo's spotlighting of plays?
He makes observations that aren't even realistic.

Where is Bill Clement? Where is Steve Levy?
NHL would be better not even having a televison contract.
Whatev.

Not all is bad.
Judging on some pics we got in, at least some people had some fun:

Went into the third period of this game up 4-2.  We've been there before. We've been on both sides of the equation.  Three weeks ago, the Pens lose this game.  But the Pens are finding ways to win under Disco Dan.  And without Crosby.

If we respected every team like we do Chicago, we wouldn't have a blog.
The telltale sign = zero Blackhawk photoshops in Gmail.

MAF makes 41 saves and wins the game, but he's not the first star in anybody's book.
That honor goes to Jonathan Toews.  What a player.

Kunitz comes through with a goal in his first game.

Still way too early for a magic number, but for this week, we had the Pens penciled in with a win against the Isles and a split of Chicago/Dallas. Do it.

Texas Ted Leonsis has Twitter.

Will there be droves of Pens fans in Washington for Games 1 and 2?
The sound of Pens fans erupting after goals will be all anyone needs to know.

If someone is going to the game and they hand out shirts,
we have some interesting plans for it.

Hell, don't even worry about our plans.
Just pee on it and put it on YouTube.

After the jump...

-- Alex Ovechkin may not be 100%.
First time a number higher than 12 has been near a % sign with AO involved.
