Talbot On His Way Back

"Penguins forward Max Talbot, who has been sidelined all year following offseason shoulder surgery, is hoping to return to the lineup Thursday night when the Penguins travel to Ottawa to play the Senators.

Talbot was recently cleared for contact and has been practicing with the team. He will continue working for the next few days and the team will make a decision following its Thursday morning skate as to whether or not Talbot will return against the Senators."

Talbot is another piece of the Stanley Cup winning team returning.


Malkin returned on Saturday.
Gonchar should be back by the end of the month or early December at the latest.
So should Letang, Orpik and Kunitz.
Goligoski will be right behind them.
Kennedy will return at some point as well.

The team has managed to tread water despite horrendous injuries.
Yes, they went on a losing streak, but they remain in fourth place in the East and they have some serious reinforcements coming in within the next few weeks.
