Had to change to the score because we failed at that.
Guess it's Karma from us blasting FSN on Twitter last night for this epic mistake:

[Thanks to DayWalk3rz]

B. Wow, how does that make it past anyone?

When you see Disco pissed off, you know it might be better not to even say anything at all.

The interference on MAF for the third goal doesn't bother us.
The ejection of Craig Adams doesn't bother us.

What really bothers us is Kovalchuk celebrating like he actually did something.

Fuck off.

There are two referees in the NHL who's names that I have remembered and listened for the past four years. Bill Mcreary and Don Van Massenhoven. That is not a good thing.

Kovaljoke plays so little defensive hockey that he makes AO look like a perennial Selke candidate.

Ilya, the rink is 200 ft long. I don't care what they taught you in Moscow and in Atlanta, they do use the entire rink during the game.

Goddamn Devils. At least they don't have Satan on their roster, then they would be unstoppable. jokeblog
I said it in yesterday's posts and I'll repeat it now, There will be a blowout for the Pens when we play the Devils again next week and they wear those ridiculous Christmas colored jerseys.

I have never had greater respect for a coach the way I do for Disco and it's games like these that prove why. Keep taking the high road and karma will eventually catch up.

Oh, and throw away that hideous tie you were wearing last night.

Went to the game last night in NJ. GREAT showing from Pens fans. We were loud all night but the fans were great during that 5 minute kill. We sat behind some NJ jackass and his inbred family, he kept trying to chant USA..retards

I listened to the game on WXDX. As soon as I heard McCreary was the ref I knew there would be some bogus calls/noncalls. Why is he even still allowed to be a referee?

I do truly believe that if not for the Craig Adams "charge" that we would have won this game. I'm not trying to make excuses, but I'd just like to point out that coming off a hard-fought game in Carolina, travelling to Newark, then having to kill 9 minutes of penalty time in the second absolutely exhausted these guys. I thought it showed at the end of the second, with lots of giveaways and generally sloppy play. Then in the third, when the Devils scored their 2nd goal, Kunitz looked like he could have played the puck, but was too tired to skate hard, and ended up in a half-assed shot-blocking poisiton and the puck went right by him. Before the time Fleury was interfered with and Kovaljoke scored, it would have been only pure luck that could have saved the Pens. Like a big mistake by Brodeur to let us tie the game.

Question: is it that the Pens just have a hard time with Uncle-Daddy, or does he step his game up when the champs come to town? (Or he comes to the champs' town?)

The Penguins have chased him from net more than any other team so I'd like to think the Pens have solved him on a regular basis. However, it is painfully obvious he has our number this year. With that in mind, they are the one team I probably would not want to see in the first round. Then again, the Caps had our number last year and how did that turn out? Regardless, I believe the Pens can defeat the Devils in a playoff series.

#30 luvdaguins 2010-03-13 22:37
BTW....Debs gave it up tonight to the Islanders. Way to take that win against the Pens and run with it. Even if we can't beat them, we can always depend on them beating themselves.

#31 BillyBoy123 2010-03-13 22:43
Did anyone hear the Devils fans saying "You can't beat us." This is embarassing. I hope they take it out on Tampa Bay tomorrow. They need to get the #2 seed. If they lose out to the Devils, it means a #4 seed behind the Sabers and a possible 2nd round meeting with the Caps. Note: Friday's game was a bad reffed game. I got the feeling that they figured if the league wasn't suspending Cooke, they would make it up in this game. Especially after Cooke got cross checked in the face at the end of the 2nd period and no penalty called. And this was after the weak call on Adams. A five minute majors are very seldum called, why call it on that play.

I'm posting this from my phone, so it's all off the top of my head and I don't have the benefit of Google fact-checking at the moment.

But I believe the FSN fail stems from the fact that the poll option for "B)"

should say "Darius Kasparaitis - OT Game Winner - Game 7 - 1999"

instead of Marty Straka.

There are multiple errors. First, in 1999, Game 7 against the Devils didn't go to OT. Second, the only game that went to OT in that series was Game 6 and the winner was scored by Jagr and assisted by Straka. Lastly, Straka never scored an OT goal against the Devils in the playoffs...ever.

Ron Cook's take on hockey recently is being done so we talk about it. The only way people read that shitstain's column is if we have something bitch about.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT LINK DIRECTLY TO THAT PIECE OF SHIT.

In fact, scan an image if appears in the paper, and post that. Don't give him more credit than he's already trying to seek.
