The Penguins and one-and-one against the Hurricanes this season.
In Octobert the Pens won 3-2 in a shootout in Carolina and the Canes came away with a 3-2 victory in Pittsburgh in December.

It's the beginning of a five game road trip for the Penguins.

Bill Guerin will be back for the Penguins.
Brent Johnson will be in net.

The Staals are brothers.

I've had a great hockey fantasy rattling around my head the last few days. The Canes, despite the fire sale, have been playing their best hockey all year. It might be a long shot, but they have a chance of making the playoffs.

I see them squeaking into that 8th spot and eliminating the Caps in the first round. They've skated with the Caps all season and even embarrassed them on home ice once.

Please hockey gods? I've been good.

I've only watched one Caps-Canes game this year...and I saw a bunch of Canes breakaways. I was stunned.

Not sure if anyone else on here saw it, decent write up about Stamkos on the espn.com NHL page one of their guys' blogs. Stamkos gives a big nod to Gary Roberts who he apparently went to go train with this past offseason. Apparently Roberts is setting up a camp or something to help other 17 and 18 year old prospects learn how to train properly.

The guy is still owning. Stamkos has really impressed too in their games I've seen...it's too bad they're stuck with Vinny's contract.
