Off-season to do list; get a petition to bring back one of the following jerseys:

Biron made some saves in this game that he's never made before.
The Pens didn't get a couple bounces.
The Flyers couldn't do anything even strength.

If you think the Pens are in trouble or something ridiculous
because of this loss, get off your fear-mongering pedastal.

The Pens are fine.
Were they supposed to go undefeated the rest of the season?
Jokes.

Speaking of jokes, how awful was the NBC announcing crew? Thanks to another radio delay, everyone had to suffer through Mike Emrick, Edzo, and Pierre McMguire, who was on some French kick when he was pronouncing Biron's name.

When Osgood isn't playing, Emrick is all right.
Edzo is a joke.  McGuire does more than he should.

Being that the Crosby love is done, we had to suffer though two plus hours of Mike Richards love from Mcdouche.
And have you ever actually paid attention to Edzo's spotlighting of plays?
He makes observations that aren't even realistic.

Where is Bill Clement? Where is Steve Levy?
NHL would be better not even having a televison contract.
Whatev.

Not all is bad.
Judging on some pics we got in, at least some people had some fun:

The Pens came out like beasts.
Their best chance came when TK came out of the corner and tried to go short side.
No dice.

Bill Guerin gets his stick caught in a Flyer, and he heads to the box.
8 seconds later, it was 1-0.

The rest of the period consisted of the Flyers trying to get out of their zone.
Then Carter ran MAF.
Power play was mud city, even when it was 5-on-3.5.
Thanks Bedzo.

Job job job.
Then the Pens get a late powerplay that carries over.

The Pens couldn't get anything on their power play.
A big-time dive by Richards got the Flyers' their own.
Big goal.  2-0.

http://www.thepensblog.com/images/stories/games/74/-3.jpg

This led to a McDouche rant about how Richards is the best young captain in the game.
Get over him.

Kennedy trips up Carcillo after missing a golden chance.
Somehow Carcillo gets a dive.
They call that and not Richards?  Stunned.

The ensuing 4-on-4 action was unreal.
Crosby had a sick chance right off the bat.  Not a big-time save.
Bing just didn't lift it enough.

Then Staal had a solid chance.  Missed the net.

The action didn't die down from that 4-on-4, though.
Both teams had a skirmish in front of the net.
Then the Pens got a penalty.  Big kill.

Crosby gets the puck and draws a penalty.  Vintage Bing.
No dive.  No theatrics.  Just gets jobbed going to the net.
No dice on the PP.
Chalk it up to the Pens' season-long PP woes...or the Flyers' suffocating PK.

Late in the period, Jordan Staal puts the stick up into Richards,
Surprised he didn't flop around onto the ice.
Flyers can't capitalize.

At the end of the period, Gonchar punches some dude in the face.
And then punches him again.
Double minor to start the third.

The Pens kill off those 4 minutes.
That could have been lights-out city.

Bedzo praising Biron as if the game was over. Terrible.

There was not much the Pens could change to try to get back into the game.
They just needed some bounces.
Or a slash.

Pens get a PP, and Letang decides to take over.
He helps the Pens' PP gain the blue line cleanly for the first time of the game.
He gets some help and retreats out to the slot.
He sharks around there until Bing can get it to him.  2-1.

--Scratch--

Images of last year's playoff series fly through Biron's head, but he makes a save.
Flyers empty netter.
