5:00 game after 7:00 game.
People always flip out when Penguin fans defend themselves against accusations of the Pens getting calls every game. All we hear from prominent blogs around the NHL is that the Penguins get all the breaks and the NHL is fixed.
The call on Bill Guerin at the 18:12 mark of the third period
no question was a horrible call.
It led to the Canes advange in OT, and although it wasn't the powerplay that did the Pens in, it may as well have.
But really, Sidney Crosby and Evegni Malkin both
had clean breakaways on Cam Ward, and Ward shut the door.
Ward was better, and the Canes won the game.
The Pens got a point,
Now they must somehow get ready for huge game in less than 24 hours.
Win and you're in from here on out.

Watch the guy get hit by the puck.
Second, look at this joke.
Recap on its way.
If this isn't a playoff game, we don't know what is.
This is a classic Steel Cage match.
The RBC Center has never been kind to the Penguins.
It's in a rough part of Raleigh, North Carolina.
But the Pens live in a tough part of town, also:
the Atlantic Division.
As if dedicating some post on a blog matters.
But we'll dedicate this one to the fallen Pittsburgh officers, who lost their lives today. [PG]
The gunman said he didn't want his rights to carry guns infringed upon.
The right to bear arms was a big issue when people had bayonets.
No matter what your feelings on guns are, no one deserved what happened to those police officers today.
Let's not cheapen their deaths by making it a cause for our own personal rhetoric on gun control.
As Pens fans, and as Pittsburghers, our thoughts and prayers go to the families.

Thanks to Steel City for the tip.
Five games left for the Pens.
We bet that no one saw the schedule last summer and circled Saturday's game against Carolina as a huge game, but that's exactly what it is now.
Both the Hurricanes and the Canadiens won last night.
The Hurricanes have been unreal.
They've kept up with the Penguins' ridiculous pace over the last month. They've now won seven in a row.
However, last night could have been worse. The Habs Canes could have taken the Rangers to overtime.
Thankfully they didn't screw that up.
7:30PM - Mellon Arena
The last time the Pens played a game Noah's ark was still being built.
This is a huge game. Despite an outstanding March the Penguins are in sixth place in the conference. They are two points out of fourth, but they are also only three points away from ninth.
Everyone knows that the playoff race is tight.
Some just don't know which teams are which:
If it feels like the last Penguins game was a long time ago, try to remember the last Devils' win.
It was Friday March 20th.
The Devils shut out the Minnesota Wild that night. Since then they've gone into a complete tailspin.
But that actually makes things WORSE for the Pens.
Just look at that. The Pens are one terrible three game stretch away
from sending us all to Mini Golf City.
The Panthers are unreal.
You know what's sad?
Pens could still win the division.
New Jersey has lost 50 games in a row all of sudden.
So you know they are going to be unreal tonight.
Pens play back-to-back this weekend against the Hurricanes and Panthers.
Both games are on the road.
If you're not a man or woman of God, you're about to be.
Charlie was mad at us because his nickname in college was the "Butt Pummler."
And that title brought back horrible memories.
But thankfully, reader Andy B cheered him up with this screen of ESPN.com:
After the jump. a breakdown of Kurt Russell's performance in BackDraft
and a mini call to arms about an idea we've been tossing around.
