The Penguins jumped out to a 2-0 lead. They were quick, sharp, and looking like a team ready for the March push.
Then the San Jose Sharks kicked their ass. The Sharks played a violent game, and erased a 2-0 and 3-2 lead by the Penguins.
As promising as the start was, the ending was a cause for major concern. From the second period on, the Penguins were pushed around ( Outshot 34-12). Jeff Zatkoff went from looking in control, to giving up a terrible game winning goal. Sidney Crosby was a minus-5. Yikes.
And it doesn't get any easier. Ducks, Friday night at 10.

Maatta had two goals. He wasn't great in his own zone, but not a lot of Penguins were.
