On September 15, EA Servers will host the second season of the EASHL. Team Pensblog jobbing of the league will continue. However, this year TPB will not only have a community team, we will also represent with a organized competitive team.
Team Pensblog will start off with a single team again for NHL10. However, everyone should know from the beginning, there is going to be a competitive team that breaks off some time after15 days to compete for the monthly titles. The competitive team will continue to play until the EASHL Playoff Finals begin. If, the competitive team does not make the cut, players will then rejoin with the rec league until the next season.
By starting off on one team, the competitive players can get some practice with the new style of game play without taking losses due to the learning curve. The 15 days will also be used for scouting players to fill the roster.

Overall Rules. No cheating. Be respectful to team mates and opposition. Have fun.
Penblog Rec Team Rules. Only the Pensblog community can join the team. Don't be a tool shed. Booting is restricted unless approved by three GMs. Extended leave of absence will result in removal for roster space.
Competitive Team Pensblog Rules. 14 player roster. - 12 skaters, 2 Goal Keepers Must take at least four people into a game. Two of those players must play D. Must play often. Have good chemistry with the team and contribute offensively and defensively. Grades must be kept high. Don't take excessive penalties. Report players to the GM who break rules.
Competitive Team Recruitment. Make it known to a GM that you are interested in playing for the competitive team. Players will be first assessed based on stats and grades. A player may be asked to attend a few tryout sessions. You may not make the team at first, but may be called up at any time.
Players who are cut from the competitive team will need to rejoin the rec team in order to be called back to the competitive team. Some players may be asked to join the competitive team to fill in for a night. Perhaps a temp spot might turn into a permanent spot if you are interested, so play your best!
