Top 5: WWF Finishing Moves of All Time
We've never been a big fan of lists, but whatev it is summer. We want every Wednesday to be a top five list. But with a slight twist. We're asking for reader submissions. It can be a top five list about anything you want. Just email us your list, with youtube links and pics. We'll pick the best one for the week and post it. If no one does it, really we could care less.

We'll start.
During the playoffs the great blog "The Big Lead," had this [post] about the top five WWF entrances of all time.
We wanted to make this post, but we were to busy watching the world champs.
But now that it is summer, we have the time to sit down and compile our list of the top five finishing moves in the history of the WWF (we refuse to call it the WWE.)
It goes without saying that WWF references are our bread and butter. In any given recap, you'll see one.
We firmly believe that in some strange way, the WWF is somehow responsible for a lot of sports bloggers.
See, back in the mid-90's we had no internet or message boards to read/react about some big time match. When Monday Night Raw went off the air at 11:01 pm on USA, you we're always left wanting more. The same thing with all the pay-per-views.
So in some ways are quest to update shit and get things out is from a place inside that remembers when there was nothing of the sort.
The following is our top five, plus some honorable mentions of all time finishing moves in the history of the WWF.
Sykora's Agent: Interview Never Happened

[Image from our Parade Flickr Group]
"Everybody regards 'Blesk' [and its sister paper 'Aha!' where the interview was published] as a publication that makes up about 90 percent of its stories," said Walsh in a story that appeared in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "Petr said he saw the story and laughed. He couldn't believe it was being talked about on all these web sites back in the states."
However, that doesn't mean that Sykora will be returning to the Penguins next season. The Pittsburgh Penguins do not have very much salary cap space to work with.

Just a reminder for next season if you make a photoshop don't be afraid to send it in.
Because you never know where it may end up.

Our Ten Favorite Regular Season Pens Games - 2008/2009
If you Google "rollercoaster of emotions" you won't find anything about the Pens 2008/2009 season anywhere near the first page.
But you should.
Last season the Penguins made the economy look stable.
There were exhilarating wins that caused you to hug random strangers in a bar.
There were heartbreaking losses that made you punch your significant other in the face.
There were a whole bunch of games that you don't even remember.
These are our favorite games of the season.

Wonderful World
A brand new Stanley Cup champions banner will be raised to the very old Mellon Arena rafters during the Penguins' Oct. 2 season opener against the New York Rangers.
Since the NHL released the regular-season schedule Wednesday, the planning has begun for the Penguins' opening-night ceremonies. Team vice president of communications Tom McMillan said other than the date, no other details have been finalized.
It could be a night filled with mixed emotions as the Penguins and their fans celebrate their third Stanley Cup victory and cherish the final season-opener at Mellon Arena.
...
The conference and division championship banners also will be on display along with a scoring title banner, which will include center Evgeni Malkin's accomplishment from this past season.
They'll hang from the 48-year-old building until at least April 8, when the Penguins will play their last regular-season game -- against the New York Islanders -- at Mellon Arena.

Does anyone else find the division championship banner confusing?
Maybe it's just the summer and we're tired.
Someone please explain.
