Thanks to everyone for sending this link in. We wouldn't pay $1 to read anything on ESPN insider, but for those who missed it, they had some article about Crosby hurting the Pens. [ESPN]

Thankfully someone sent us the article. It is a bunch of stats and shit. It isn't worth the time.
Since the article, Bing has like 90 goals. So suck it.

Now we just can't wait for the new Crosby hat trick commercial. Maybe they'll show how his first goal was offside./Bettman

Seriously though, how scary is it that Pens have had like no one, and they are like 18-9

How bad are the Rangers? Steve Valiquette turned in one of the worst goaltending efforts in the history of the Mellon arena. Don't let anyone tell you any differently. 6'6 piles of shit could make bigger saves.
We also got a first hand reminder on how big of a waste Sean Avery is. Sometimes you forget when you don't see him. His jumping of Tenk makes for an interesting game Monday night.

Hopefully he doesn't fake going into cardiac arrest like the last time the Penguins beat his ass.

Also, Donald Brashear is a butt plug.

So umm yea, assuming Bourque is out Monday and even though the Pens always play like poop in MSG, we're back in business.

Go Pens.

GAMEDAY 27 - RANGERS

The first game of a home-and-home against the Rangers.
The Pens are in MSG on Monday.

"Kris Letang and Alex Goligoski are expected to return to the lineup tonight against the NY Rangers. And while Jay McKee will not play tonight, he said that he is hopeful to return in the team's Monday contest in New York."
The last time the Rangers were in the Igloo the Pens were hanging a banner, so it's fitting that the team is starting to resemble the Stanley Cup Champs once again.
Deryk Engelland and Ben Lovejoy have been returned to WBS.
They did a solid job while they were with the big club and it's comforting to know that they're there if needed.

The Rangers played in Tampa yesterday and lost 5-1.
Wade Redden and Brandon Dubinsky are out of the line-up for the Rags.

Wow.
Chris Bourque still playing. And the Pens still wearing the Blue uniforms.
The Penguins organization has to know that the Blue uniforms suck right?
We saw the article about the alternates changing next year.

If they don't bring back the early 90's uniforms as a favor for dumping this shitting defy your sac shit on us they'll have offically reached the Gordon Bombay Mighty Ducks II level where he becomes to big for everyone.

Whatever, we celebrate Thanksgiving for an entire week.
Peace

Early starts like this throw everything off.

And all we have to do is hit "New Post" a little bit earlier.

They actually have to play a hockey game.

Brent Johnson will be in net for the Pens.
Dwayne Roloson for the Islanders.

So We Wonder How They Would React To A Photoshop Expo?

Posted by Pensblog Staff on .

Oops. [PG]
The gauntlet appears to have been first picked up sometime Tuesday evening on an Internet site called Pensblog, where anonymous posters share their thoughts from behind the veil of cryptic online identities.

"Luke overcooked my Thanksgiving turkey," someone posted.

"Luke moves your folding chair and parks in your space anyway," another wrote.

"Luke eats Frosted Flakes for breakfast, then appoints them to board positions."

That's just a sampling of the nonsensical onslaught that has been crackling across Twitter and various blogs this week. And it's all aimed at the mayor.

Actually, that isn't what happened. We posted the hash tag #ravenstahlrumors on Twitter, and it took off from there.
But cryptic online identities sounds cool, so we'll go with that.
Actually, maybe Tony Granato is behind all of this.

Anyway it would only seem right to follow up with a Luke Ravenstahl photoshop expo.

Should we roll it?
C-blog and emailers' call on this one.

P.S. A statement from our lawyer, Charlie De La Faggio, Esq.:

"Whatev."

Go Pens.

What NHL Players Are Thankful For

Posted by Rick on .

Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect upon your life and think about what you are thankful for.

It's also a good time to eat a ridiculous amount of food and pass out on the couch with your pants unbuttoned, but that doesn't lead itself to a blog post quite as well.

So today we're going to look at what certain NHL players (and coaches, GMs and others) are thankful for.

As you may have gathered from the banner, today marks the 18th year since Badger Bob left us.
And while it is Thanksgiving, we have to at least honor that.
