14 games in 27 days.
Pens are playing in Washington on Super Bowl Sunday. Great move by the NHL. If there wasn't a lockout, we'd probably be complaining about the home-and-home with the Devils. Pens get their first look at Jordan Staal's Hurricanes on the 28th.
15 games in 29 days. Pens and Lord Therrien dance for the first time on March 2nd. The Rangers and Bruins back-to-back home games will be emotional. Those will also be smack-dab in the middle of a brutal stretch: 8 games in 14 days. The Pens will play on home ice for 10 of 12 games from March 10th to April 2nd. Circle that stretch right now.
Interesting situation here: only 3 Atlantic Division games in the last 12 games. Jordan Staal returns to Pittsburgh for the season finale. We can only imagine what could be on the line in that game.
