Jaromir Jagr is an elite talent. He is a guaranteed Hall of Famer. He gave the Penguins and the city of Pittsburgh 11 years. We're the first to admit that we were on the Jagr Hate Train when he asked for a trade in 2001. We were in our middle-teen years at the team, filled with angst and hormones. But as time as progressed and we've seen how sports leagues and human beings operate, we've come to hold Jagr up there as one of our most favorite players of all time. It will be a crime if his contributions to the Penguins franchise are never acknowledged in the way they should be.
Here is a great laid-back interview he had with Ray Ferraro recently. WARNING: David Volek sighting.
